ABOUT THE ROLE

Amrize Building Envelope is a leading global manufacturer and supplier of a
comprehensive product portfolio for commercial building performance solutions,
is currently looking for a highly skilled Production Forklift Operator to work out of our
Bristol, CT facility.
The Production Forklift Operator is responsible for transporting materials in a production
setting in various locations of the facility in a safe, efficient, and organized manner.

 

2nd Shift: 2pm-10:30pm Monday through Friday
Pay: $28.60 plus a $1.00 shift differential!

 

WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH

  • Operate mobile equipment in a safe manner while performing piece counts,
    labeling, and verifying visual quality of finished goods.
  • Move production supplies from the warehouse and load in specified designated
    areas.
  • Set up machines (calibration, cleaning etc.)
  • Control and adjust machine settings, identify damages, and report any
    shortages.
  • Test the operation of machines periodically, fix issues that might occur during the shift and complete
    Production/Activity Logs.
  • Track/move work in process to/from various production areas and finished goods
    into the Warehouse.
  • Maintain the 5S posture of the assigned area.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviors.

 

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

Education:

  • High School Diploma

Required Work Experience:

  • Forklift certified

Additional Requirements:

  • Basic Math, language, reading, and communication skills.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators. Employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit test.
