Calgary, AB, CA, T2B 0R5
Join Amrize as a Aggregates & Asphalt Operations Analyst and help construct what's next. If you're ready to put your skills to work on projects that matter — and build a career with a company that’s building North America — we want to hear from you!
ABOUT THE ROLE
Amrize Ltd (NYSE: AMRZ) is a newly independent North American building materials leader (spun off from Holcim in 2025) specializing in cement, aggregates, ready-mix concrete and asphalt. It operates a highly integrated network – over 1,000 sites across the US and Canada – including 467 aggregate operations and 50 asphalt plants. In 2025 Amrize delivered ~$11.8 billion in revenue with ~19,000 employees. In this context, the Operations Analyst, for Great Calgary Area (GCA) Aggregates & Asphalt will report directly to the Operations Support Manager and be a key support to the Operations team and Controller, ensuring the plant’s day-to-day and month-end accounting is accurate, timely and aligned with operational needs. This hands-on role bridges operational data (production tons, scale tickets, stockpile surveys) with the general ledger. It demands strong cost-accounting skills, inventory control and production insight, as well as an understanding of public-company compliance (e.g. SOX, SEC/NYSE reporting). The candidate will work closely with plant managers and the Controller to report on costs per tonne, inventory accuracy, plant profitability, and to uphold internal controls in a fast-paced, seasonal environment.
The Operations Analyst will provide critical accounting support to the Controller by maintaining accurate financial records for plant operations, analyzing costs and variances, and ensuring inventory and production data are properly captured. This role helps translate operational metrics (e.g. tons produced, stockpiles, maintenance usage) into financial reports and decision support, enabling the Operations Manager and Controller to manage budgets, forecasts and financial compliance.
