ABOUT THE ROLE 
The Logistics & Customer Service Supervisor serves as the onsite leader for the Customer Value Centre (CVC) team in Calgary, overseeing Customer Value Representatives and After-Sales Support Representatives supporting the Prairies market (Manitoba, Saskatchewan, and Alberta). This role combines customer service leadership, logistics coordination, and team supervision in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will work closely with customers, transportation partners, sales teams, and supply chain stakeholders to ensure a seamless customer experience from order placement through delivery, invoicing, and cash application. The position requires a highly professional, service-oriented leader who can build strong relationships, drive operational excellence, and support continuous improvement across customer service and logistics functions.


WHAT YOU’LL ACCOMPLISH

  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with customers across the Prairies market. Drive customer satisfaction by ensuring reliable, responsive, and value-added service.
  • Ensure accurate and timely order entry, communication with internal stakeholders, and coordination with transportation partners.
  • Track customer service metrics and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and KPI development.
  • Provide direct supervision, coaching, mentoring, and performance management for Customer Value Representatives and After-Sales Support staff. Support recruiting, onboarding, and training activities for new employees.
  • Maintain strong cross-functional relationships with Sales, Logistics, Operations, and Supply Chain teams.
  • Support Rail & Supply teams with railcar deployment coordination and product exchange administration.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with external carrier and trucking partners and serve as the primary point of contact for local carrier dispatch teams.
  • Assist in identifying opportunities to improve transportation efficiency, customer service levels, and cost management.
  • Promote a strong safety culture through proactive participation in safety meetings and programs.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviors.

 

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
Education: Bachelor’s Degree. 
Field of Study Preferred: Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management
Required Work Experience: 3-5 years of experience in customer service, logistics, supply chain, operations, or a related field. 5 years of supervisory or team leadership experience. Experience in the building materials industry is considered an asset.
Required Technical Skills: Microsoft Suite, Google Suite.
Travel Requirements: 10%

  • Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators. Employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests.
