ABOUT THE ROLE
Responsible for determining the survey schedule for each operational quarry, pit or construction site across assigned
regions to include annual topographic updates and inventory (product stock) surveys and ensuring aggregate site
compliance with the corporate inventory policy (ie., US Inventory Manager). Additional duties include greenfield site
surveys, site investigation, drilling surveys, face updates, mine plans and civil/engineering/plant layout. This individual
must have excellent communication and motivational skills. Personal as well as professional integrity is a must and this
person must “Lead by Example”. The position also requires a reasonable and sound thought process with a common-
sense approach. It requires that decisions be made without regard to one’s own gain but rather for the betterment and
prosperity of Amrize
WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH
- Assists in carrying out field surveys using GPS, total stations and levels
- Support data collection, measurement and layout of construction sites
- Help interpret technical drawings and plans under supervision
- Assist in preparing survey reports, documentation and site records
- Learn to use surveying software (e.g., AutoCad, Trimble Business Center)
- Ensure equipment is properly maintained and calibrated
- Follow all heath and safety protocols on-site
- Work closely with engineers, site supervisors and other stakeholders
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
Education: 1 year of experience in a Construction Management, Surveying or Civil Engineering role
Travel Requirements: Required to travel and work on site at all projects in all seasons
Additional Requirements:
- MSHA Part 46 or 48 experience preferred
- Good communication and teamwork abilities
- Competent with MS Office, Spreadsheets, PowerPoint
- Knowledge of Machine Control
- Basic knowledge of surveying techniques and instruments
- Strong willingness to learn and develop technical skills
- Physically fit and comfortable working and walking outdoors in various conditionsMust maintain a valid driver’s license

- Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators. Employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit test.
