ABOUT THE ROLE
This role plays a key part in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of plant and office activities by coordinating shipping, procurement, inventory, and administrative processes. It supports accurate record-keeping and timely execution of operational requirements to maintain production flow, customer commitments, and strong supplier relationships. This position also contributes to financial and performance tracking, helping ensure data integrity across multiple systems and supporting informed decision-making. In addition, the role provides essential administrative support that enables day-to-day operations to run effectively, while maintaining a strong focus on safety, compliance, and continuous improvement across all activities.
WHAT YOU’LL ACCOMPLISH
- Support efficient day-to-day plant operations through accurate administrative, financial, and operational coordination.
- Maintain accurate purchasing, invoicing, inventory, shipping, and operational records across multiple systems.
- Support procurement and vendor management activities to ensure timely processing of orders, invoices, and payments.
- Assist Plant Management with reporting, cost tracking, labor tracking, and operational administration.
- Coordinate communication and workflow between production, shipping, accounting, vendors, and external service providers.
- Support production and inventory tracking to help maintain operational accuracy and efficiency.
- Assist with shipping and logistics coordination to support customer delivery requirements and plant schedules.
- Contribute to process improvements that enhance administrative efficiency, accuracy, and operational effectiveness.
- Provide dependable administrative support that contributes to overall plant performance and customer satisfaction.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
Education: Post-secondary education in Accounting, Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related fields preferred.
Required Work Experience: Minimum of 1 year experience in office administration, logistics, procurement, or similar role preferred.
Required Technical Skills: Microsoft Excel, Word, Google Workspace. SAP, Ariba, and/or BFS (asset).
Travel Requirements: <10%

- Shipping, logistics, procurement, and inventory systems understanding
- Strong data entry, documentation, and reporting accuracy
- Awareness of interprovincial transportation and freight regulations.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively across teams and with external partners
- Comfortable working with administrative systems and data-driven processes
- Commitment to workplace safety and compliance with all safety procedures
- Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators. Employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests.
