Job Description
The Production Winder/Unwind operates and troubleshoots equipment, loads/unloads materials for
production, and selects the appropriate materials based on production schedule.

Pay Rate: $28.25 per hour

Shift: 1st (Tuesday-Friday 5:30am to 4pm)

 

Job Responsibilities
-Follow all Standard Work Instructions and Company Policies
-Adhere/Follow all safety rules
-Alert supervision to product quality or machine operation concerns
-Maintain the 5S standard of the assigned area.
-Prepares materials for each production run according to the production schedule
-Captures individual material documentation
-Loads the material into the machine and sets it up for continual feed
-Other duties as assigned

 

Qualifications
-High School diploma, GED, or Equivalent Work Experience
-Mfg experience preferred (demonstrated mechanical aptitude and experience with computer
 controlled equipment)
-Ability to follow standard work instructions, use measurement tools, blueprints, manuals as
 needed

 

Working Conditions
The working conditions include an indoor, dusty non-temperature controlled, industrial manufacturing
and warehouse environment. Subject to varying cold and hot temperatures and occasional outdoor
activities in hot or adverse weather.

 

Physical Requirements
-Must be able to lift up to 50lbs including use of lifting assistance devices
-Ability to stand for extended period of time
-Ability to bend, stoop, reach, twist, squat, kneel as required
-Ability to operate mobile equipment as required
