ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Regional Ready Mix Laboratory Manager to oversee and supervisre  our ready mix concrete laboratory personnel for al regional ready mix labs. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in concrete technology, quality control, and laboratory management. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining our laboratory's reputation for excellence and driving innovation in our ready mix concrete products. WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH

  • Maintain CCRL, Army Corps of Engineers (ACES), and other relevant accreditations and recognitions.
  • Oversee day-to-day laboratory operations, ensuring efficiency and compliance with industry standards.
  • Develop, submit, and optimize mix designs for various concrete applications.
  • Lead RMX innovation initiatives to improve product quality and efficiency.
  • Assist Area Ready Mix QC Managers with daily tasks as needed.
  • Maintain and update the mix design database.
  • Collaborate with Ready Mix Operations and Quality Teams to address issues and implement solutions.
  • Attend industry and association meetings to stay current with latest developments.
  • Perform concrete testing, including the ability to lift applicable weights for the job.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhearing to health, safety and enviromental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviors.

 

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
.

 Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
 Certifications:  NRMCA and ACI certifications.
 Skills:  Proven management experience in a laboratory setting.Strong knowledge of concrete technology, testing procedures,   and quality control. Proficiency in data analysis and report writing.
 Travel:  Ability to travel throughout the region and occasionally out of state for trainings and industry meetings.

 

Additional Requirements:

  • Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment (PPE), including but not limited to respirators. Employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit test.
