ABOUT THE ROLE
Support the coordination and execution of cement transportation by rail. This role partners with internal teams, rail carriers, and service providers to help ensure efficient, cost-effective, and reliable delivery. The Rail Services Coordinator contributes to contract administration, railcar fleet coordination, and performance tracking while helping maintain high service standards across operations.
WHAT YOU’LL ACCOMPLISH
- Support the administration and execution of inbound and outbound rail freight contracts
- Assist with railcar lease agreements and help coordinate oversight of a fleet of ~3,800 railcars, including maintenance tracking
- Partner with service providers to help ensure performance aligns with company standards
- Compile, track, and report monthly key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on day-to-day rail transportation planning and execution
- Help monitor railcar supply and utilization to support efficient and cost-effective operations
- Contribute to budgeting and forecasting activities related to rail transportation

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
Education: Bachelor's degree or 3 years of equivalent experience
Required Work Experience: 2-3 years of rail experience a plus, 2-3 years of logistics/supply chain experience a plus
Required Technical Skills: Basic Computer Knowledge, Excel, PowerPoint, SAP or other ERS systems experience a plus

- Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators. Employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit test.
