ABOUT THE ROLE
To provide financial support and analysis on US CEM consolidated and corporate region results, forecasts and plans. Timely compilation of reporting and analysis to assist business leaders in making informed decisions. Collaborate with other functions to ensure the completeness and accuracy of financial data. Work with Logistics VP, Supply Chain Managers, and other functions to ensure reported results, forecasts, and plans are accurate, and variance is communicated and understood.

 

ABOUT THE ROLE

  • Provide corporate finance with information necessary to support corporate-level analysis and benchmarking initiatives.
  • Analyze financial plan data to identify potential risks and opportunities, and present findings along with proposed actions to senior management for review and decision making.
  • Provide qualitative and quantitative economic assessments on key company initiatives and projects to assist management in decision-making, including (but not limited to) Internal Rate of Return (IRR) and Economic Value Added (EVA) valuations.
  • Support the preparation of financial and operational reports and analysis to assist the business decision-making process.
  • Assist and support all financial planning activities, including monthly, quarterly, annual and long-term planning
  • Analyze complex financial scenarios to provide detailed insight into business drivers and potential value creation opportunities; this may require gathering and interpreting of marketing, logistics, manufacturing, and system (SAP) data. Present findings to management
  • Assist with the compilation and preparation of information required to support internal and external quarterly and annual reporting requirements
  • Supporting commercial analytics and reporting
  • Involvement in distribution cost, terminal spend, and other logistics benchmarking activities
  • Other duties as assigned.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
Education: Bachelors degree
Additional Education Preferred: Masters degree
Field of Study Preferred: Business preferred, with emphasis in accounting and/or finance
Required Work Experience: 3 years working in finance and/or accounting
Required Technical Skills: Advanced Excel Skills Required. SAP, SAC experience is a plus
Travel Requirements: 5%

 

Additional Requirements:

  • Experience of working in large decentralized manufacturing organization, with reporting under US GAAP/SOX a distinct benefit.  
  • Strong decision-making and analytical skills.
  • Self-starting, flexible and responsive; able to make independent decisions in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks/assignments within specified deadlines.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Able to develop and maintain positive working relationships with co-workers, as well as internal and external customers.
  • Effective planning and organizational skills (balancing multiple tasks and assignments within specified deadlines, including the ability to articulate project status to supervisor, other team members and customers.
  • Strong computer skills, including spreadsheet and database applications.  
  • Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators. Employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit test.
