ABOUT THE ROLE 
The Field Operations Coordinator plays a critical role in supporting dispatch operations, field engagement, and safety performance. This position provides operational continuity through dispatch relief while actively supporting drivers and supervisors in the field.
The role is responsible for reinforcing a “safety-first” culture through driver engagement, site presence, and proactive hazard identification. By combining dispatch coordination with field-level support, this position helps ensure efficient product delivery, regulatory compliance, and a high standard of customer service.


WHAT YOU’LL ACCOMPLISH

  • Maintain continuity of dispatch operations by effectively coordinating drivers, equipment, and deliveries
  • Support safe and efficient field operations through regular site engagement and operational oversight
  • Promote and reinforce a strong safety culture through leadership, communication, and driver engagement
  • Contribute to improved safety performance by identifying risks and supporting corrective actions
  • Strengthen operational execution by bridging communication between dispatch, field teams, and management
  • Support driver development through coaching, training, and performance feedback
  • Assist in implementing operational and safety initiatives that improve efficiency and compliance
  • Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving, and adhering to health, safety, and environmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviors.
     

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
Education: High School Diploma
Additional Education Preferred: Post-secondary education
Field of Study Preferred: Logistics, Transportation, Occupational Health & Safety, Business 
Required Work Experience: 2–5 years of experience in dispatch, construction, transportation, or concrete operations
Required Training/Certifications: Valid driver’s license
Required Technical Skills: Microsoft Office, dispatch and scheduling systems
Travel Requirements: Up to 30% local travel for site visits; minimal to no overnight travel 
Additional Requirements:

  • Safety certifications (e.g., CSTS, First Aid) considered an asset
  • Familiarity with telematics and communication systems
  • Previous experience supporting field operations or safety programs is a strong asset
  • Strong commitment to safety and ability to promote “Safety First” culture
  • Ability to influence and coach employees at all levels
  • Strong problem-solving skills in fast-paced, high-pressure environments
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators. Employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests.
