ABOUT THE ROLE
The Maintenance Inspector will contribute to the preparation, planning & scheduling of the yearly program for all condition monitoring and inspection techniques under his responsibility. They will evaluate data and findings, take actions and inform the superior if an equipment is in a critical situation. They will coordinate the third party services execution for special monitoring requirement and assure the right condition of the machine after the repair and before the start-up. They will also actively contribute on building up the equipment BOM and identification of critical spare parts.
WHAT YOU’LL ACCOMPLISH
- Perform maintenance walk-by inspections and condition monitoring measurements on schedule, prioritising critical equipment and ensuring measurements are taken after repairs and before start-up
- Analyse condition monitoring data by uploading results, generating trends, drawing conclusions, and issuing notifications when needed
- Develop and maintain the condition monitoring chart and annual program, consolidating information into the workload balancing sheet
- Optimise and balance weekly maintenance workloads, participating in weekly planning and major shutdown meetings to coordinate cross-departmental activities
- Support corrective maintenance by contributing to work order creation, setting priorities, and escalating critical conditions.
- Contribute to RCA meetings with relevant data and insights to support root cause analysis and continuous improvement.
- Maintain tools and instruments to ensure cleanliness, calibration, and availability, while optimising preventive maintenance programs annually.
- Drive continuous improvement by creating and updating procedures, and engaging with suppliers on new tools and techniques.
- Oversee third-party services for condition monitoring, ensuring accurate measurements and conclusions.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
Education: Technical Degree or Diploma
Field of Study Preferred: Mechanical Engineering
Required Work Experience: 3 years of maintenance experience in cement or similar heavy industry
Required Technical Skills: MS Office, SAP
Travel Requirements: 5%
Additional Requirements:
- Ability to work self-directed
- Knowledge of cement production process
- Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators. Employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests.
