ABOUT THE ROLE
Amrize operates seven regional construction materials businesses in the United States. The core business of producing crushed stone and sand & gravel is enhanced by downstream operations that produce ready mixed concrete, asphalt, and concrete products. In addition, recycling, liquid asphalt, soil remediation and retailing businesses are also in operation, creating true, vertically integrated divisions.
 
Our regional businesses participate in all sectors of the construction industry, supplying aggregates-based materials and contracting services to a wide range of projects including large, publicly financed infrastructure projects, commercial, and residential developments.

WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH
•    Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviors
•    Starts engine, shifts gears, presses pedals, and turns steering wheel to operate loader. Moves levers to lower and tilt bucket and drives front-end loader forward to force bucket into bulk material. Moves levers to raise and tilt bucket when filled, drives vehicle to work site, and moves levers to dump material.
•    Transfers material from stockpiles to bins by operating a wheeled loader, loads truck with concrete rubble.
•    Performs emergency and routine repairs and maintenance on plant equipment and structures at the site locations. May perform routine preventative maintenance on mobile equipment, such as lubricating, fueling, and cleaning. Conducts routine inspections of plant and mobile equipment.  Grease and fuel mobile equipment.  
•    Perform assignments outlined by supervisors and standard procedures are followed in the performance of duties. Work is inspected periodically for safety and economy in operation.  Perform pre-shift inspections on mobile equipment. 
•    Maintain an effective system of communications with supervisors and customers serviced.
•    Assists in various projects at the plant locations to make sure production is maintained.  During equipment breakdowns, assist others in repairs and clean up.
•    Responsible for maintaining the appearance of the plant and yard area by using general housekeeping practices.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
•    High School Diploma or equivalent.
•    Prior experience operating wheeled loaders preferred.
•    Skilled welder preferred, but not required.
•    Must be able to lift 100lbs and preform manual labor like shoveling and sweeping.
•    Must be detail oriented with the ability to handle multiple tasks at one time.
•    Must be able to prioritize work.
•    2 years experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
•    Ability to read and write.
•    Excellent driving skills.
•    Valid Driver’s License. 

Additional Requirements:
•    Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize Approved Personal Protection Equipment (“PPE”), including but not limited to respirators.  Employee that are required to war respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit test.
