ABOUT THE ROLE
PURPOSE Maintains, tests, and repairs electrical/electronic, environmental, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems and components. Applies knowledge of electrical/electronic and mechanical principles in determining equipment malfunctions and applies skills in restoring equipment to operation and new installations. Provides skilled mechanical and electrical/electronic support to all areas of the plant.

WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH
•    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
•    Demonstrates a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to safety policies in all work environments and areas.
•    Practice and promote safety in such way as including but not limited to; assessing risks before starting tasks, only performing authorized activities, utilizing appropriate PPE.
•    Exercise and encourage core values including but not limited to; developing self and coaching others by inspiration and empowerment
•    Solid individual safety track record
•    Demonstrated knowledge and skill set of the industrial electrical field including, but not limited to: understanding of electrical units of measure, AC/DC voltage characteristics, understanding of basic circuits.
•    Proven effective verbal and written communication skills
•    Understanding of hand tool usage & safety
•    Able to procure required tools for the position within three months of job transfer
•    Must be able to successfully pass the prerequisite electrical examination
•    Willing to work weekends, night shifts, and call-outs, as needed This position will have an alternating schedule of days and nights working 6:00-6:00
•    Other responsibilities as assigned

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
Education:  High School diploma/GED; The ideal candidate will possess an Associate’s/Technical degree in an electrical or a related field Additional Education Preferred: Journeyman License
Field of Study Preferred: Electrical Technology, Industrial electrician
Required Work Experience:  1-3 years of electrical in a manufacturing environment
Required Technical Skills:  Knowledge of processing methods and appropriate planning techniques. Proficiency with Excel, Word and PowerPoint, AP experience strongly desired.
Travel Requirements:  Some travel required

•    Employees required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests.
