ABOUT THE ROLE

 

The AIM implementation/revitalization “Breaking the reactive cycle” is a change process with a substantial impact on the manufacturing of cement and all related departments. The success of the project is directly related to the effort and commitment of the client to support the change process actively. The Task Force Leader as part of the AIM project organization is one essential condition to achieve the project targets, supporting and coaching in the implementation of the systems and laying a solid foundation for continuous improvement once the project is completed

 

 

WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH

 

  • Supporting the Project team members in the elaboration of the strategies, objectives setting and SIS (System Implementation Schedule)
  • Establishing constant and transparent communication with all the stakeholders
  • Aligning stakeholders by communicating direction in words and deeds
  • Motivating and inspiring by energizing stakeholders to overcome resource and bureaucratic related barriers
  • Working and collaborating closely with other team leaders ensuring the compliance of the SIS, anticipating any possible deviation and resolving conflicts between tasks and or other team members
  • Ensuring continuity and ownership of the process of change, assisting in the effective installation of all changes and support the AIM team during the implementation
  • Leading and coordinating other Task Force members to provide effective coaching to supervisors and managers in the practical implementation of actions following maintenance processes standards
  • Ensuring the proper documentation of the processes by promoting and creating the terms of reference to contribute to the sustainability of the project
  • Motivating the team members to keep the momentum of the project during its entire implementation
  • Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviors.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES & TASKS

 

  • Performs all duties in a safety-conscious manner and is proactive in contributing to a safety culture
  • Supports in the creation and moderation of workshops to define the strategies, objectives settings and SIS (System Implementation Schedule) of the project
  • Creates the PDP (Project Development Program) and provides the training according to the needs, supported by other team members and monitors with PLT members the effectiveness of the PDP implementation
  • Detects training needs in a timely manner and reacts accordingly, integrating new topics on the PDP to cover deficiencies and or providing hands-on training
  • Monitors the atmosphere between project team members, evaluates any symptom of constraint taking immediate actions to solve any issue before they become a problem
  • Monitors the implementation of the Meeting system to ensure its effectiveness, providing training and coaching
  • Participates in meetings and workshops of the different project groups
  • Guides and coaches the maintenance and production managers in the preparation of the Steering committee meetings
  • Supports other team leaders in the preparation of meetings and reports
  • Checks together with other Task forces at short intervals the progress of the activities in the SIS to ensure the weekly compliance
  • Creates together with the AIM Coach the weekly progress reports during the implementation of the project
  • Ensures together with the project leader the organization of the events to celebrate the achievement of the milestones and targets of the project
  • Other responsibilities as assigned

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

 

Education: Bachelor's degree

 

Additional Education Preferred: Master's degree

 

Field of Study Preferred:

Maintenance Engineering or related discipline

 

 

Required Work Experience:

5 to 7 years in plant maintenance position in a heavy industry, preferably in the area of management systems, quality systems, project management

 

 

Required Training/Certifications:

Knowledge, training, or experience in Lean manufacturing highly desired. Project management.

 

 

Required Technical Skills:

Microsoft Office Suite, CMMS (Maximo and SAP PM)

 

 

Travel Requirements: 20%

    • Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators. Subject to applicable law, employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests.
