• Monitor procurement platforms (SAM.gov, DIBBS, GSA eBuy, state/local portals) and anticipate upcoming government and military roofing projects.
• Understand and navigate government and military contracting vehicles (MACCs, MATOCs, JOCs, IDIQs, BPAs, GSA schedules, DoD-specific acquisition processes).
• Collaborate with internal teams to drive specifications by completing substitute requests submittals, and pushing your own performance based Duro-Last specifications.
• Deliver capability briefings, technical presentations, and product demonstrations to government and military audiences.
• Support contractors bidding on government and military projects by providing technical information and submittal support.
• Maintain accurate tracking of sales activity, opportunity pipelines, and contract performance using CRM tools.
• Stay current on FAR/DFARS regulations, DoD procurement policies, and public-sector roofing standards.
• Participate in government and military trade shows, procurement fairs, industry associations, and base-level events to expand influence and visibility.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

• 5+ years of experience in commercial roofing, building envelope systems, construction materials, government sales, or military contracting.
• Able to travel 50% around the western United States and beyond.

• Experience with government or military procurement processes, bid portals, and contracting structures strongly preferred.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
• Highly self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple projects and work independently.
• Proficient in Google Suite, Microsoft Office, and CRM systems.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, construction management, public administration, engineering, or related field preferred.
