ABOUT THE ROLE
The Business Analyst, Commercial & Operations is responsible for commercial, operational, delivery, and sustainability analysis and reporting. This role champions data integrity within SAP and leads reporting for the market area to support performance optimization and cost-saving efforts. Key deliverables include development of digital solutions, process mechanization, and supporting the strategic business cycle including production and customer portfolio analysis.
WHAT YOU’LL ACCOMPLISH
- Champion the collection and integrity of production data through SAP to ensure an uninterrupted supply of product.
- Lead the commercial reporting process for the market area and individual plant performance.
- Own and manage commercial and financial forecast files, actively participating in forecasting exchanges.
- Develop forward-looking solutions by applying statistical methods to uncover trends and improve forecasting.
- Oversee daily production logs and ensure SAP data matches physical quantities at site locations.
- Implement processes and tools to track budgets, maintenance, and shipping performance to achieve targeted KPIs.
- Manage distribution and financial forecast tools to balance costs and manage working capital impact.
- Support annual business cycle activities including strategic plans, price reviews, and market analysis.
- Drive the mechanization of regional processes and the trial and execution of digital solutions like TMS and online bidding platforms.
- Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviours.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- Education: Undergraduate degree in business, engineering, construction management, logistics, or supply chain management.
- Required Work Experience: Five or more years of experience in data management, analytics, and performance optimization within a commercial or operational environment.
- Required Technical Skills: Expert MS Office skills; proficiency with SAP, Salesforce, Qlikview, and digital tools/processes.
- Travel Requirements: 30%.

- Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators. Employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests.
