ABOUT THE ROLE
Provide support for the facility’s maintenance operations, including: generating requisitions, receiving,shipping, inventory control, etc., primarily by way of computer through SAP.
WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH
- Track mobile equipment use and fuel consumption.
- Coordinate Equipment Parts and Inventory.
- Work with vendors to build a firm working relationship with the objective to reduce costs for both parties.
- Provide Inventory Management support including counting, error resolution and error analysis for cycle counts, reorder point and reorder quantity set up or suggestions. Procure consumables, misc. shop supplies, safety equipment as needed.
- Research specialty items, as needed.
- Load / Unload trucks. Setup outgoing shipments when needed.
- Request quotes from vendors
- Responsible for ordering new parts, managing inventory databases,communicating with vendors, tracking shipments, and coordinating returns for incorrect or defective items. They ensure technicians have the exact parts they need, when they need them.
- Identify the required part, verifying part numbers, checking supplier availability, and fulfilling all parts request.
- Inventory Control: Track stock levels, conduct physical audits, and set minimum/maximum reorder points.
- Procurement & Purchasing: Source and order required parts, request price quotes, and manage backorders.
- Shipping & Receiving: Unpack deliveries, inspect parts for damage, and verify that packing slips match invoices and purchase orders, stock shelves with deliveries and maintain supplies for all outside locations.
- Department Collaboration: Issue parts to technicians or mechanics, maintain a clean and organized parts room, and update work orders in tracking systems
- Other duties / tasks as assigned.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Education: High School diploma /GED or 3 years of equivalent experience
Required Technical Skills: Experience with windows based computer programs a must, with emphasis on spread- sheets and databases. Ie. MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint. Knowledge/experience with SAP software helpful.
Additional Requirements:
- Previous project management preferred.
- Previous experience with equipment maintenance preferred.
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
- Must be willing to work occasional odd hours and weekends when needed.
- Must have a valid drivers license.
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Inventory & Software Management: Familiarity with database software and cataloging systems is a core requirement.
- Organizational Skills: Attention to detail to prevent stock-outs and accurately catalog hundreds of unique items.
- Communication: Ability to communicate clearly with vendors regarding delivery times and with on-site staff regarding parts availability
- Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators. Employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests.
