ABOUT THE ROLE

Reporting to the Commercial Analytics and Systems Manager, the Jr. Sales & Logistics Analyst (SLA) is a support role focused on commercial analytics, systems administration, and dashboard management. The SLA’s primary objective is to support the Commercial organization by maintaining and enhancing key business tools including Salesforce.com, QlikView/QlikSense dashboards, and reporting platforms across all six product lines. The SLA will also contribute to high-value projects such as the Customer 360 Dashboard, job-site/customer auditing tools, strategic market assessments, and scripting/automation initiatives using Python, Google Apps Script, and QlikSense.

 

WHAT YOU’LL ACCOMPLISH

  • Estimate market size, value, and growth trends while tracking monthly indicators to keep the management team ahead of industry shifts.
  • Build, maintain, and enhance key commercial dashboards, including the Customer 360 Dashboard, ensuring data accuracy and a high-quality user experience for regional stakeholders.
  • Partner with Territory Managers to report on sales backlogs, win/loss activity, and bid tracking, providing data-driven forecasts integrated with construction and housing market trends.
  • Support the administration and continuous improvement of Salesforce.com, QlikView/QlikSense, and APEX, identifying opportunities to streamline workflows and improve data quality.
  • Deliver comprehensive monthly analytics and CRM insights across all product lines (Aggregates, RMX, Pipe, Precast, Asphalt, and Soil Solutions) to support leadership decision-making.
  • Assist in developing standard operating procedures for accurate data capture, storage, and reporting across key commercial platforms and annual cycle processes.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviours.

 

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

  • Education: Post-secondary degree is an asset (Business, Engineering, or Computer Science preferred).
  • Field of Study Preferred: Business, Analytics, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
  • Required Work Experience: 0-2 years of experience in business analytics, commercial analysis, or a technical/data role.
  • Technical Skills: * Python (data manipulation, automation, scripting).
    • Google Apps Script (workflow automation, Sheets/Drive integration).
    • QlikSense / QlikView (load scripting, dashboard development, data modelling).
    • Salesforce.com and APEX (CRM administration and process automation).
    • Microsoft Excel (advanced); SAP is an asset.

Additional Requirements:

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Valid Class G Driver’s License.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Knowledge of the construction or building materials industry is an asset.
  • Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators. Employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests.
