ABOUT THE ROLE
Reporting to the Sr. Product Marketing Manager the Marketing & Communications Specialist will support the creation and implementation of marketing materials, with a focus on external and digital communications ensuring business objectives are clearly and succinctly communicated while also monitoring and reporting on the effectiveness of various marketing initiatives. The incumbent is highly skilled at crafting compelling stories and is skilled at identifying, proposing and implementing innovative ideas and ways to communicate.
WHAT YOU’LL ACCOMPLISH
- Implement and manage the design and redesign of product collateral including brochures, case studies, display materials, social media videos & graphics, and presentations.
- Manage projects to capture new photos and videos highlighting changes and developments within the business to support graphic design and content production.
- Support the communication of new products, programs, services, and pricing to external audiences through email newsletters, product or pricing notifications, and presentations
- Manage French translations and review of all content.
- Create, write, edit, and share social media content that builds meaningful audience connections, including writing compelling captions and creating on-brand graphics.
- Work with the Sr. Product Marketing Manager to brainstorm, plan and help create engaging content for social media platforms.
- Ensure website is optimized for key audience segments while monitoring site performance, visitor behavior, traffic, and conversions.
- Support SEO (search engine optimization), SEM (search engine marketing), Social Media Marketing, and other advertising initiatives.
- Support the sales team with various customer-facing experiential opportunities including trade shows, training sessions, and customer appreciation events.
- Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviours.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- Education: College diploma in business marketing, digital marketing, advertising, graphic design or a related discipline.
- Experience: 1-3 years of related communications experience.
- Technical Skills: Experience with Adobe Creative Suite and Photoshop.
- Knowledge in Video editing, digital asset management systems and website posting/updating is essential.
- Impeccable writing, proofreading and editing skills.
- Good understanding of the full digital ecosystem from website to search, social, CRM, and content marketing.
- Ability to travel up to 5%

- Detail orientated with good time management and prioritization skills in a changing environment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Understanding of brand, tone, stakeholders, and target audience.
- Strong interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.
- Problem solving skills and the ability to summarize and communicate important data.
- Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators. Employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests.
