ABOUT THE ROLE
Reporting directly to the General Manager, Sales, Ontario, the Sales Performance Analyst, Eastern Canada, serves as a core member of the Sales Team, with a dotted-line reporting relationship to the Commercial Performance team. The role drives efficiency and collaboration, supports the implementation of sales tools, initiatives, oversees the deployment of marketing materials, acts as the gatekeeper for pricing, and coordinates sales meetings and customer events. The incumbent provides inside sales support to the district sales team, conducts analysis of key business factors to support data-driven decision-making and strategy development, and works closely with other Cement functions — including Manufacturing, Logistics, Quality, the Quebec team, and the Senior Management team — to align sales objectives and execution.
WHAT YOU’LL ACCOMPLISH
- Ensure all aspects of the role are carried out in compliance with company safety guidelines and policies, supporting sales in coordinating both Customer Safety and internal safety initiatives, while promoting a positive safety culture through leadership by example and active participation.
- Administer a proactive pricing process by ensuring accurate pricing, quotes, and invoicing; act as the gatekeeper of systematic pricing in SAP/Salesforce, including quote/QV setup, price lists, and item pricing.
- Support CVC & ABS in identifying and resolving sales order exceptions.
- Manage customer communications, including annual price letters, new customer welcomes, and seasonal greetings.
- Assist the General Manager with annual budgeting, monthly forecasting, reporting, and KPI tracking.
- Monitor market indicators such as construction starts, building permits, and housing starts.
- Generate and distribute monthly sales and market share reports.
- Collaborate with Sales Managers to establish yearly SG&A budgets.
- Support district studies in partnership with the General Manager and Business Unit Sales & Marketing teams, including analysis of pricing, market share, and profitability.
- Monitor monthly financial statements, provide weekly sales forecasts, track KPIs to evaluate sales efficiency, and support achievement of local targets.
- Coordinate improvements to sales reporting systems and dashboards for enhanced cross-functional collaboration, assist in the preparation and execution of Commercial Documentation Directives (CDDs) and price adjustments, and manage weekly and monthly sales forecasting.
- Oversee annual budgeting while accounting for project timelines, weather, and market dynamics; drive standardized Price and Margin Management processes; manage internal rebates, CAC dues reporting, price-over-freight analysis; and support other sales and marketing financial reporting needs.
- Serve as liaison between sales and other departments to coordinate resources, information, and problem solving.
- Plan and coordinate logistics for events, tradeshows, sponsorship programs, and customer presentations.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
Education: Minimum diploma or University degree in business, engineering or construction management.
Required Work Experience: Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
Travel Requirements: 10% travel
