ABOUT THE ROLE
The Quality Engineer is responsible for establishing effective quality control systems, conducting thorough root-cause analyses, and leading continuous improvement initiatives. This role is crucial for ensuring our manufacturing processes and products consistently meet the highest quality standards. T
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality control processes in manufacturing using PFMEA, PCP’s, QMS, and Lean principles.
- Monitor and analyze production process capability to ensure compliance with industry standards (ISO, Six Sigma, etc.).
- Conduct root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA) for quality issues.
- Perform internal and supplier audits to ensure adherence to quality requirements.
- Collaborate with design, production, and supply chain teams to improve product & process quality.
- Establish and maintain documentation for quality standards, procedures, and inspections via ISO 9001 standards.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- A bachelor’s degree in engineering, statistics, or an equivalent field is required.
- At least 7 - 10 years of related experience in plant quality and/or continuous improvement roles.
- ASQ Certification preferred.
- Experience with ISO-9000, auditing, and testing is required.
- Experience with Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, and problem-solving methodologies (8D, FMEA, etc.).
- Proficiency in quality tools such as SPC, DOE, and statistical analysis software.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
