ABOUT THE ROLE
Effective management of Product Quality Control and Quality Processes to ensure product performance, product cost management, effective reserve utilization, and customer satisfaction
WHAT YOU’LL ACCOMPLISH
- Conduct QC tests to ensure that produced and shipped aggregates are in agreement with QC specs.
- Implement Amrize Quality Program, including sampling, testing, reporting, and follow up for all products as determined for each site of responsibility.
- Implement programs and processes to ensure compliance of all products with relevant Codes, Standards, and Specifications.
- Record, Monitor, and communicate Aggregate KPI performance with key stakeholders as required.
- Investigate variances from Plan and establish corrective actions as required.
- Participate in or lead the development and implementation of site specific actions to reduce and/or utilize long products, including innovating new combination materials.
- Provide input to ensure alignment between Sales and Operational staff to ensure product performance meets customer expectations.
- Provide Expert Customer Support—Field Sales Support and Quality Incident Investigation and Resolution as required.
- Liaise with customers to ensure acceptable product performance and acquire knowledge for potential innovation and product improvement.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- Minimum Secondary Diploma.
- College Diploma in Civil Engineering Technology.
- University Degree in Engineering is a plus.
- Excellent communication and computer skills.
- Must be able to work well as part of a team and independently.
- Must be able to work in outdoor and indoor work environments.
- Able to perform a variety of tasks, including moderate to heavy lifting.
Additional Requirements:
- This role will require the handling of cements, aggregates, concrete, and equipment.
- Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators. Employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests.
