ABOUT THE ROLE
Amrize is searching for an ambitious, self-motivated operational professional ready to take a significant step into a site and management leadership role. This pivotal position has four key areas of responsibility: Site Operations Management, Dock Logistics & Coordination, Strategic Project Execution, and Operational Excellence. This role is a fast track to senior leadership within Amrize.
WHAT YOU’LL ACCOMPLISH
- Take full responsibility for the daily coaching, mentoring, leadership, and overall success and performance of your team across the Guelph, Brantford, and three Dock locations.
- Coordinate, drive, and rigorously track financial performance using local and regional analytical tools; manage annual repair budgets and identify cost-reduction opportunities.
- Develop, implement, and track maintenance, production, and shipping processes to consistently achieve aggressive Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s).
- Oversee and manage all aspects of three critical aggregate docks, ensuring safe operation and a consistent supply of aggregates.
- Maintain collaborative communication with the Great Lakes division to ensure quality, timely, and efficient delivery of products.
- Ensure all sites meet or exceed Amrize and Regulatory guidelines; collaborate on mining plans and rehabilitation forecasts.
- Support the development, approval, and successful implementation of major CAPEX and new aggregate site development projects.
- Drive continuous improvement by streamlining operational processes and boosting plant performance and efficiency.
- Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviours.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- Education: Undergraduate Degree.
- Field of Study Preferred: Business, Engineering, or related field.
- Work Experience: 3-5 years of Building material Industry experience.
- Technical Skills: Microsoft Suite of products, knowledge of aggregate processing and distribution equipment.
- Travel Requirements: 25%

- Good people skills.
- Conflict resolution skills.
- Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators. Employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests.
