ABOUT THE ROLE
The Employee Liaison will help establish and maintain effective working
relationships with the Ready Mix employees. The liaison will serve as the main
point of contact for employees. The liaison will professionally and courteously
assist employees in person or on the phone to provide each employee with an
excellent support experience.

 

 

WHAT YOU’LL ACCOMPLISH

  • A contact point for focus groups or pilot programs for employer initiatives.
  • Identify problems in communications between management and employees.
  • Administrator of DOT compliance programs
  • Act as point person on driver and employee issues. Answer employee
    questions, direct them to someone who can help, or get the answer as soon
    as possible.
  • Have a broad and deep understanding of company processes, policies, and
    procedures. Actively find ways to improve processes.
  • Show patience and empathy when handling difficult conversations.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with front-line employees.
  • Regularly present to employees that attend new hire orientation what to
    expect from the Employee
  • Proactively offer assistance to drivers present at the facility. Follow up to
    ensure needs are met. Track the outcomes of the driver interactions. Report
    on quantity and quality of interactions regularly.
  • Conduct exit interviews with drivers when necessary.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and
    environmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these
    behaviors.

 

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
Education: High school diploma or GED
Licenses Preferred: Valid State Driver’s License
Required Work Experience: Liaison experience within a pertinent industry is
preferred.
Travel Requirements: 50-75% Travel to local Ready Mix Plants
Required Technical Skills: Basic Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel,
PowerPoint), Google

 

Additional Requirements:

Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment (PPE), including but not limited to respirators. Employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit test
