ABOUT THE ROLE
An electrical maintenance planner II is responsible for developing and managing a comprehensive schedule of preventive and corrective maintenance tasks for electrical systems within a facility, utilizing a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) to plan work orders, identify potential issues, allocate resources, and ensure optimal equipment reliability and safety by coordinating with electricians and other relevant departments.
WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH
- The Electrical Maintenance Planner II is responsible for the implementation of more complex and larger-scale plans in the Amrize Maintenance Management System (MMS) – e.g., MAC/SAP in all aspects of electrical maintenance activities. From work identification through planning, scheduling, and execution, working with other planners to divide work appropriately.
- The Electrical Maintenance Planner II is responsible for the accuracy and continuous updating of maintenance master data – part numbers, bills of materials, work order history, etc., within the Maintenance Management System and partnering with the Maintenance Manager to identify and reconcile any discrepancies.
- The Electrical Maintenance Planner II is responsible for ensuring the equipment maintenance strategy for predictive and preventative maintenance, repair, and annual maintenance, as established by the Electrical Manager, is realized in the daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance plan.
- The Electrical Maintenance Planner II is responsible for adding pertinent information to work orders, as required, to facilitate the comprehension of the execution team. This includes defining a clearly the scope of work to be performed clearly, establishing the preparatory work required before scheduled equipment downtime, developing a detailed job plan with all the work sequences involved to adequately complete the repairs, as well as equipment downtime and work hours required, including partnering with other planners to resolve issues and identify opportunities.
- The Electrical Maintenance Planner II is responsible for determining the cost involved for parts and supplies for each work order and ensuring that such costs are communicated and forecasted accurately to maintenance management.
- The Electrical Maintenance Planner II will work closely with procurement and warehousing to ensure that all non-stock parts and materials are as required by the job plan.
- The Electrical Maintenance Planner II will lead the annual budgeting process and monthly forecasting for maintenance spending.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
Education: Bachelor's degree with at least 5 years of required experience or at least 8 years of equivalent experience with HS Diploma / GED
Field of Study Preferred: Electrical
Required Work Experience: 5 years
Required Training/Certifications: Basic understanding of electrical components such as relays and breakers
Additional Requirements:
- Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators. Employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit test.
