WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH

  • Demonstrate commitment to communicating, improving, and adhering to safety policies in all work environments and areas
  • Support continuous production by delivering plant cleaning services (which inlcudes shovelling, sweeping, and vacuum truck activities)
  • Understand and comply with Environmental and Health & Safety policies to assure that environmental, health and, and safety are the first prioirty
  • Communicate effectively and timely with staff
  • Ensure all assigned work areas are clean and organized at all times
  • Utilize work tools safely and effectively
  • Work with Operators and management ; communicate and work together to ensure customer's needs and managements needs are met in a safe and constructive manner
  • Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, imporving and adhering to health, safety,  and environmental policies in all areas of work. 
  • Perform other duties as time permits or as assigned

 

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Education: Highschool Diploma/GED

Required Work Experience: Knowledge of tools, production industry terminology, knowledge of products

Additional Requirements:

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel. The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, talk, and hear. The employee will frequently be required to walk on rocky, irregular surfaces that may be muddy and in reduced lighting conditions, often working in outside weather conditions. The employee must frequently shovel for a minimum of 3 min. with an 8 lb. shovel, frequently lift and/or move up to 50lbs, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 75lbs. 
  • Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE), including but not limited to respirators. Employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit test.
