Join the Gaco team, a trusted name in building envelope solutions with a heritage dating back to 1955.

 

We’re seeking a Master Scheduler who’s ready to be part of a company committed to formulating everyday success for every customer through innovative, reliable products used to adhere, seal, and protect at every level of the building envelope.

 

 

This role focuses on the high-level management of all schedules for the plant. It is the main contact
between the plant and corporate planning and is essential for corporate planning and plant operations
alignment. Daily interdepartmental communication required to help the entire plant achieve established
goals and KPI’s.

 

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

● Maintains master data for all raw material, work-in-process, and finished goods
● Communicates with corporate planning daily for high level planning of the plant, production timing,
and maintenance updates
● Point of contact for outlying production facilities to support their production requirements
● Coordinate information with other functional staff, including customer service, engineering,
accounting, and human resources
● Leads projects or processes of diverse scope, while working independently with limited supervision
● Analyze production floor status through input/output control reporting
● Coaches and reviews the work of production schedulers
● Supports continuous improvement/automation activities
● Uses advanced analytical/technical problem solving to develop new solutions to existing
problems/procedures
● Supports relationships through strong communication and negotiation skills with internal and external
stakeholders
● Be cross trained in creating/maintaining all schedules for the plant for backfilling when needed
● Other duties as assigned

 

 

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR

● Bachelor's degree in related field from an accredited university or college
● At least 5 years of related experience
● Strategic thinking, strong analytical skills, able to synthesize considerable amounts of complex data
● Be capable of utilizing spreadsheets and SAP or similar ERP software in managing the planning process
● Change agent – skill with enabling change, strong influencing abilities
● Ability to work on multiple projects with limited direction
● Exceptional interpersonal/written communication skills; can effectively interact with all levels of
management
● Team player able to work well across business operations and develop strong business team
