Were seeking a Manufacturing Engineer who's ready to be part of an innovative, people-first brand shaping the future of the roofing industry.

 

ABOUT THE ROLE
This is a hands-on role, with the majority of time spent on the production floor troubleshooting mechanical failures, supporting maintenance with short- and long-term solutions, and partnering with safety to ensure compliance with all policies. This position is responsible for reducing scrap, increasing productivity, and achieving an OEE of 85% or greater.

 

WHAT YOU’LL ACCOMPLISH

  • Comply with all safety policies and procedures
  • Maintain regular attendance, timeliness, and flexibility, including up to 50% travel
  • Create and update building layouts as needed
  • Analyze existing systems and identify improvement opportunities
  • Develop and implement process improvements
  • Troubleshoot equipment and process issues
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Manage projects and budgets using software-based systems
  • Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
  • Communicate any safety, quality, or equipment issues to management, supervisors, or quality teams
  • Complete reports and monitor operating conditions
  • Present updates and findings clearly to senior leadership
  • Promote and demonstrate a strong commitment to health, safety, and environmental standards across all work environments

 

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering, or equivalent experience
  • 3–5 years of experience with a degree, or 10+ years of practical experience
  • Strong project management experience (minimum 5 years preferred)

 

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, AutoCAD, and PowerPoint

 

Travel Requirements:

  • Up to 25% travel

 

Additional Requirements:

  • Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to assemble and construct equipment
  • Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Holcim approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators. Employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests
