ABOUT THE ROLE

The Talent Acquisition Partner will be responsible for coordinating the recruiting efforts for Amrize Building Envelope, with a strong emphasis supporting our Duro-Last operations headquartered in Saginaw, MI. They will work closely with the human resources department and leadership to find, recruit, hire, and retain qualified candidates. This role will be responsible for helping plan, develop, and implement new and productive Talent Acquisition strategies for the company. 

 

This is a hybrid role (4 days in-office, 1 day remote).

 

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

  • Attract, recruit, screen, and interview candidates.
  • Recommending placement of internal employees and external candidates.
  • Evaluate and modify existing talent acquisition processes, policies, and procedures to provide a seamless candidate experience.
  • Investigate and determine employee needs within the business.
  • Plan and administer employee referral programs.
  • Use HRIS, Recruitment Marketing tools and social media to execute open roles.
  • Source and find candidates qualified for open positions, find bottlenecks in the recruiting process, and utilize methods for hard to fill roles.
  • Leads projects or processes of diverse scope, while working independently with limited supervision
  • Design, plan, and execute selection processes (conduct interviews and screening calls, administer assessment tests, etc.)
  • Organize and/or attend career fairs, assessment centers or other events.
  • Reviews employment applications and background check reports
  • Plan and build strategies for improving the candidate’s experience and suggest measures for improving employee retention.

 


WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources management, business administration, or a related field.
  • At least eight years of experience as a Talent Acquisition Partner or in a related role.
  • Experience in full cycle recruiting, sourcing, and employment branding.
  • Familiarity with a variety of selection methods (interviews, assignments, assessment tools, etc.)
  • Hands on experience with posting jobs on social media platforms and job boards.
  • Experience with HRIS, ATS, Sourcing and Recruitment Marketing tools.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with all levels of management across the organization and externally, including negotiation and influence skills.
  • Strong relationship management skills, including partnering and consulting and conflict resolution.
  • Strong people and project management skills.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
