ABOUT THE ROLE 
Primarily responsible for the oversight, coordination and planning of daily production activities to ensure uninterrupted supply, and delivery of product to our customers.  Enhances efficiencies in operations, while maintaining a strong safety culture. Works closely with Sales and Dispatch to understand customer requirements, and to effectively communicate the ability to meet requirements based on available resources. Interfaces regularly with Human Resources, Safety, Compliance and Environmental.

WHAT YOU’LL ACCOMPLISH

• Supervises shipping department employees
• Assigns shipping schedules to ensure that production builds are met.
• Ensures all employees have proper training in their given field, and make certain that they approach their work in compliance with the programs, procedures, and policies that have been instilled.
• Tracks attendance, and addresses attendance and tardiness concerns.
• Works with team to identify, troubleshoot and resolve shipping problems.
• Responsible for requisition of materials and goods
• Ensures conformance to environmental and safety standards
• Generates ideas and implements changes in processes, and the use of equipment to increase efficiency, improve safety and quality and improve employee morale
• Maintains line cleanliness and good housekeeping practices
• Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and
  environmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these
  behaviors

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
Education: Bachelor’s Degree preferred
Required Work Experience: 3 to 5years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
Travel Requirements: local

Additional Requirements:

• Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment (PPE), including but not limited to respirators. Employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit test
