ABOUT THE ROLE
Amrize is looking for a Production Slipform Curb Machine Operator. Responsible for daily operating slipform machines in a high pace production environment. You will need to be safety minded and have attention to detail.
WHAT YOU’LL ACCOMPLISH
- Maintain accurate placement of concrete structures using survey layout
- Operate machine to production standards
- Ensure the safety of company and personnel
- Create an atmosphere of team work
- Understand and use best practice ,work procedures
- Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviors.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
Education: High school diploma or equivalent
Required Training/Certifications: Class 5 drivers license
Required Work Experience: Minimum of 2 years experience, but willing to train the right applicant
Required Technical Experience: GPS controls not required but preferred
Additional Requirements:
- Working without supervision (occasionally)
- Ability to perform manual labor
- Work in varied weather condition
- Lift heavy objects
- Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators. Employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests.
