ABOUT THE ROLE
The Maintenance and Parts Planner/Scheduler will anticipate and eliminate potential delays by ordering parts, planning, and coordinating maintenance resources, materials, and equipment access.
WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH
- Responsible for adherence to company policies, including safety and the use of personal protective equipment.
- Ensures that safety is considered when developing job plans.
- Reviews work requests/orders for accuracy and clarity.
- Obtains and organizes all information required (OEM drawings, vendor manuals, special procedures, and diagrams).
- Verifies that all material, information, tools, and labor are available before scheduling.
- Prepares requisitions in the CMMS to ensure materials, parts, labor, and other charges are allocated to appropriate work.
- Defines the work scope, estimates time, labor, equipment, and material needs, and identifies areas of safety concern.
- Works closely with the maintenance manager to plan and schedule work orders through a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS).
- Review and process completed work orders for comments, variances, completeness, and accuracy.
- Maintains spare parts inventory to ensure that adequate and optimum levels of spare machine parts are available to achieve operating downtime and slow time goals.
- Schedule and coordinate all the maintenance for company vehicles and forklifts.
- Prepares weekly, monthly, and annual activity reports.
- Control spending per Variable Overhead Budget.
- Retrieve parts from vendors and supplies as required.
- Keep parts storage areas neat, clean, and organized.
- On-call for emergency parts requisition.
- Analyzes maintenance data and recommends specialized programs for improved methodologies and preventative/predictive maintenance programs to management.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
Education: High School or GED
Field of Study Preferred: Supply Chain or Logistics
Required Work Experience: 4 years

Additional Requirements:
- Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize-approved Personal Protection Equipment (PPE), including but not limited to respirators. Employees who are required to wear respirators must be clean-shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests.
