ABOUT THE ROLE
As the Plant Manager, your prime objective will be to develop and implement processes to improve Plant efficiencies and minimize costs for our Precast division. Encouraging the ongoing development of our safety and preventative maintenance culture, you will build and maintain key relations with customers, employees, and industry authorities.
WHAT YOU’LL ACCOMPLISH
- Lead a team of Precast Supervisors and Unionized Workers in a manner to execute on the priorities of the business.
- Collaborate with our team of Precast professionals within Sales, Engineering and Project Management to ensure client expectations are met.
- Help develop leading edge technology to elevate our performance to the next level within the industry.
- Demonstrate a keen acumen to lead a large manufacturing workforce in a collaborative positive manner to align with the expectations of the company.
- Work with out team of experts to maintain of industry leading quality service and drive to perform.
- Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviors.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
Education: Technical Diploma or experience is equivalent.
Field of Study Preferred: Construction Management, Civil Engineering or equivalent experience.
Required Work Experience: 10 Years of related experience in an Operations capacity. Prior Manufacturing or Precast experience is considered an asset.
Required Training/Certifications: Prior experience in Manufacturing, Construction.
Required Technical Skills: Prior experience in Manufacturing, Construction.
Travel Requirements: 5%

- Proven ability to manage and supervise a staff of 60+ employees.
- Strong leadership skills and takes ownership of their areas.
- Dedicated to meeting the expectations of internal and external customers.
- Experience with and understanding of the construction industry.
- Must be a team player with excellent organizational skills.
- Multi-task, must be flexible and balance shifting priorities to meet deadlines.
- Ability to make decisions in a timely manner, sometimes with incomplete data and under tight deadlines and pressure.
- Demonstrate strong analytical skills, research, problem solving and decision making.
- Excellent leadership skills - must be able to motivate others and provide complete, direct and actionable feedback.
- Detail-oriented, thorough and accurate.
- Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators. Employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests.
