ABOUT THE ROLE
The primary objectives of the Quality Control Technician are to ensure that all chemical and physical testing of cement, intermediate products and raw materials and fuels are performed accurately and within all standards. The Quality Control Technician is an integral link in the Brookfield Plant Quality Control program.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- Education: Technical diploma or equivalent experience. A two-year chemical technology course is preferred or equivalent experience.
- Required Work Experience: Previous experience in quality control or a laboratory setting is preferred.
- Required Training/Certifications: Experience in a mortar/concrete testing lab considered an asset.
- Required Technical Skills: Basic computer skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal instruction
- Good troubleshooting, problem solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
Additional Requirements:
- Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators. Employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests.
