ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking a full time Plant Mechanic at the Hassayampa, AZ site. We offer competitive pay, benefits (medical, dental, vision, disability, 401k), vacation and paid holiday.

 

WHAT YOU'll ACCOMPLISH

  • Demonstrates a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to safety policies in all work environments and areas.
  • Maintains, inspects, repairs plant equipment in accordance with instructions, equipment manuals, etc.
  • Performs preventative maintenance on mobile and plant equipment.
  • Responsible for the safe and efficient operation, maintenance, and repair of crushers, screens, wash plant components (bearings, pulleys, and conveyor belts), and other related machinery.
  • Inspects mobile and plant equipment to make certain that they do not require repair.
  • Disassembles and repairs machinery or equipment by replacing worn or broken parts.
  • Communicates and promotes safety, compliance and environmental requirements in alignment with company standards.
  • Schedules and performs preventative maintenance on mobile and plant equipment by following the manufacturer’s recommended service intervals and internal equipment reliability experience.
  • Inspection of condition and operation of plant and mobile equipment and perform necessary repairs and adjustments.
  • Provides leadership and/or guidance to less experienced mechanics on more complex or heavier assignments. Coordinates work to ensure that repairs are completed in a timely manner and according in order of priority. May train new employees
  • Travel to various aggregate sites will be needed.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • Required Work Experience: Minimum of 3-4 years’ experience in mechanical repair, installation and construction in industrial environment
  • Required Training/Certifications: Must have a working knowledge of electrical, mechanical as well as the use of all shop equipment such as welding and machining equipment. Licenses Required: Valid   driver’s license
  • Required Computer and Software Skills: Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office 

Additional Requirements:

  • Experience with customer service and equipment operation and maintenance.
  • Employee is occasionally required to sit. The employee must frequently shovel for 3 minutes with an 8 lb. shovel, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distant vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts. The employee is frequently exposed to high, precarious places; fumes or airborne particles, confined space, outside weather conditions, low lighting, artificial lighting, and explosives. The employee is regularly exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, proximity to electrical equipment, andibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate and occasionally
