ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Document Controller for a three-month contract to support our document management activities. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring documents are accurately sorted, scanned, uploaded, and maintained within SharePoint, while supporting compliance and operational efficiency across the organization.
WHAT YOU’LL ACCOMPLISH
- Thoroughly sort, scan, index, and upload documents into SharePoint in accordance with established document control procedures.
- Ensure documents are correctly named, version-controlled, and stored to maintain accuracy, traceability, and accessibility.
- Follow up with document owners to ensure documents are reviewed, updated, and approved in a timely manner.
- Monitor document status and support adherence to document review cycles and deadlines.
- Work closely with Quality, Learning & Development, and other functional teams to ensure document requirements are captured and addressed appropriately.
- Support continuous improvement of document management processes and best practices.
- Maintain confidentiality and data integrity at all times.
- Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviors.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
Education: High school diploma
Required Work Experience: Experience in document control.
Required Training/Certifications: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). Working knowledge of SharePoint.
Required Technical Experience: Adobe Acrobat, SharePoint, and Electronic records
Additional Requirements:
- Proven experience in document control or records management, preferably in a regulated or quality-driven environment.
- Experience using SharePoint for document storage, management, and version control.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to scan and manage multiple documents and priorities simultaneously.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to follow up professionally with document owners and stakeholders.
- Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators. Employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests.
