ABOUT THE ROLE

The Regional Training Specialist delivers and supports comprehensive training programs within an assigned region. This role provides hands-on instruction and field support to external contractors, field personnel, and internal sales teams. Working under the direction of the Training Manager, the Specialist ensures consistent execution of training strategies that enhance installation practices, strengthen product knowledge, and drive customer satisfaction.

 

This position will be based in Chicago or Indianapolis

 

WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH

Training Delivery and Execution

  • Facilitate in-person, field, online, and hybrid training sessions for contractors, field personnel, and internal teams.
  • Conduct hands-on demonstrations and certification training (e.g., Trained Installer, Pro, Premium, Commercial).
  • Support development and maintenance of field-use tools, including installation guides, videos, and related training materials.
  • Ensure training content is accurate, up-to-date, and approved by the Technical Team.
  • Promote compliance with all company policies and safety standards, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).

Regional Support and Feedback

  • Serve as the regional point of contact for product and installation support.
  • Deliver basic onboarding and foundational training (e.g., “Installation 101”) for regional new hires.
  • Gather feedback from contractors and field teams on product performance, installation challenges, and improvement opportunities.
  • Communicate field insights to the Training Manager for coordination with Research & Development and Quality teams.
  • Partner with Sales and Marketing to support regional events, trade shows, and promotional initiatives.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving, and adhering to health, safety, and environmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviors.

 

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

Education: Bachelor’s Degree

Field of Study Preferred: education, training, construction management, or a related field

Required Work Experience: three years of experience in technical training, field instruction, or technical support, preferably in the roofing, building materials, or construction industry.

Additional Preference: Bilingual in Spanish

Travel Requirements: 50%

Additional Requirements:

  • Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize-approved Personal Protection Equipment (PPE), including but not limited to respirators. Employees who are required to wear respirators must be clean-shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests.
