ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Sales and Distribution Coordinator to join our team at the Lombard Pre-cast production facility. This role is responsible for ensuring external customers receive high-quality pre-cast products on time while supporting internal teams across sales, engineering, production, and distribution. This position will coordinate all aspects of order fulfillment—from initial confirmation through production, quality control, and delivery—facilitating clear communication and efficient processes between our Chilliwack and Lombard operations. The role also includes managing sales and shipping functions within the Lombard yard, including inventory planning, job order processing, and arranging transportation for customer pick-ups and deliveries. The ideal candidate will have strong communication, problem-solving, and time management skills, with some knowledge of pre-cast products and related processes. A collaborative and proactive mindset is essential, as this position plays a key role in supporting our sales and marketing efforts and ensuring customer satisfaction in the Vancouver Island market.

  • Use project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Excel) to track order progress, ensure timely fulfillment, and follow up on coordination tasks proactively.
  • Monitor and maintain yard inventory, support production planning, and recommend stock level adjustments to ensure availability and product mix.
  • Work with Plant Supervision to ensure safe and efficient execution of loading, unloading, deliveries, and yard operations by forklift operators and truck drivers.
  • Place purchase orders to replenish stock from warehouses (e.g., Chilliwack and Langley), ensuring timely material availability for customer jobs.
  • Coordinate equipment repairs and transfers in line with company procedures, ensuring required documentation and approvals are in place.
