Amrize has an immediate opening for a Crusher Operator to join our team in Fort McMurray. The Ideal candidate should comfortably be operating a crusher and other types of heavy equipment. 

 

Responsibilities: 

  • Ensure the safety of company personnel, the community, and the environment

  • Seek out and implement Best Practices

  • Create an atmosphere of teamwork and ensure the development of personnel and arbitrate to resolve conflicts

  • Identify and communicate product problems and information

  • Perform several types of manual work

  • Handle materials, tools, and equipment

  • Operate automotive vehicles when required

  • Shovel spillage around conveyor

  • Willing to work flexible hours, job involves shift work and weekend work throughout the year

Safety:

  • Must be able to work on Industrial Oil Sands sites in RMWB

  • Adhere to all company safety and environmental practices and policies – training provided

  • Contribute toward the overall success of the safety program by following set rules procedures and practices

  • Identify and report workplace hazards and make positive suggestions for their elimination or control

 

Qualifications:

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Experience working with gravel processing jaws, cones, and screens

  • Experience with rubber tired loaders and excavators is an asset

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Good organizational and planning skills.
