ABOUT THE ROLE

 

 

The project manager leads the end-to-end delivery of a new aggregate production facility, overseeing planning, design, permitting, construction and commissioning through start-up. The role intergrates site develoment, pit development and installation of crushing, screening and washing system to ensure efficient execution. Responsible for CAPEX control and schedule adherence, the Project Manager ensures project are delivered on time and within budget while maintaining compliance with MSHA, environment and regulatory standards. The role requires coordination across contractors, engineers and equipment vendors to drive performance throughout construction and commissioning.  A core focus is establishing safety and quality framework including PPE standards, SOPs and QA/QC programs ensuring operational readiness and material consistency.  The Project Manager also optimizes site layout, logistics and plant design to maximize efficiency and through out. The role requires a technically strong leader capable of executing complex industrial  projects with discipline and accountability.

 

 

WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH

 

 

  • Managing process improvements and participating in equipment selection and quoting.
  • Demonstrating experience in aggregate material processing.
  • Participating in the capital improvement submittal process.
  • Providing support to aggregate plants as required.
  • Interpreting quality specifications to achieve desired results based on processing equipment needs.
  • Utilizing Agg Flow to determine yields and equipment requirements.
  • Contributing to a team environment and supporting areas outside the daily scope of work.
  • Preparing project assessments, including cost analyses, Gantt charts, and historical data.
  • Managing projects through completion while coordinating assigned contractors.
  • Working with management on site inventories and reconciliation.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviors.

 

 

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

 


Education: High school diploma or equivalent

Additional Education Preferred: Bachelors degree

Required Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office, or related industry software experience strongly preferred

 

 

Additional Requirements:

 

  • Proven experience in aggregates production operartion, mine planning or heavy industrial project management
  • Strong technical kowledge of crushing, screening, conveying systems and mining techniques
  • Demonstrated leadership to hire, train, supervise personnel and manage contrators
  • Commitment to MSHA, environmental compliance and safety standards
  • Proficiency in project management discipline, including scheduling, budgeting and resource allocation
  • Effective communication skills to coordinate between corporate teams, contrators, and regulatory authorities
