ABOUT THE ROLE

Run Screed, Roller, Skid, dozer's, loaders, excavators, haul trucks or other types of large equipment used for paving or moving, grading and compacting earth, sand, gravel, stone and/or asphalt materials. Conducts routine daily inspections of equipment and maintains equipment in a clean and safe manner

 

This position comes with a $1,500 sign-on bonus. 

 

WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH

  • Operates equipment, loading material into bins, into crusher, into trucks or into plant.
  • Moves earth or other materials from one location to another.
  • Runs paving/grading equipment
  • Performs visual and safety inspection of equipment. 
  • May maintain appearance of equipment, proper air pressure in tires, proper fluid levels or perform minor repairs as needed.
  • Keeps equipment clean and orderly
  • Ensures that safety, compliance, environmental requirements are followed at all times
  • Completes are paperwork that may be necessary; assists with other duties required

 

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent preferred

Experience: 1+ year of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Ability to read and write.
  • Excellent driving skills.
  • Valid Driver’s License.

Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviors. Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators. Subject to applicable law, employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests.
