ABOUT THE ROLE

As Operations Manager, you’ll be the driving force behind keeping our facility running at peak performance. You’ll lead maintenance planning and scheduling, ensuring the right people, parts, and priorities are in place to keep equipment operating smoothly. From optimizing preventative maintenance programs to expediting urgent repairs, managing inventory, and keeping meticulous records, you’ll play a key role in maximizing efficiency, minimizing downtime, and supporting seamless plant operations.

 

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

  • Maintenance planning
    o Research and estimate manpower requirements for each generated work order
    o Establish and procure necessary materials needed to complete the job
    o Determinate priority and required completion dates from Production Department on each work order
    o Enter work order data into maintenance management software
  • Maintenance scheduling
    o Develop daily, weekly maintenance work schedule through computer maintenance system
    o Coordinate work schedule
    o Track work progress and adjust work schedules as needed
  • Maintenance reliability
    o Work with engineers and maintenance to develop preventative maintenance work order system for all equipment
    o Generate PM work orders as frequency requires for maintenance schedule
  • Material/Equipment expeditor 
  • Expedite equipment and materials required for maintenance work
    as emergencies arise
  • Maintenance
  • o Manage equipment history, records and documentation
  • Storeroom
  • Manage inventory, records and documentation

 

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • Minimum Education - BS or Associate Degree with 5 years industrial experience or 7-10 years of industrial maintenance and/or engineering
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Team player who excels at communication and values the importance of strong teammate relationship building
  • Computer skills – Microsoft Office
