Assistant Project Specialist

 

ABOUT THE ROLE 

Duro-Last Roofing, the world’s largest manufacturer of prefabricated roofing systems, has an opening for an Assistant Project Specialist at our Ludlow, Massachusetts facility. This is a full-time, on-site, hourly position.

 

WHAT YOU’LL ACCOMPLISH:

  • Work with contractors and sales reps on all aspects of job:  Membrane, metal, ISO, and add on products
  • Point person for contractors to go to for quotes and orders.  Direct communication with field 
  • Responsible for tracking and following up on quotes in the field
  • Entering orders into the AS-400 system
  • Learn all aspects of commercial roofing; Product selling and installation tactics will be essential in overall contractor satisfaction
  • Other duties as assigned

 

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and spoken communication skills
  • Excellent working knowledge Microsoft Office to include Word and Excel are required
  • Energetic and “self-starting”
  • Accurate and detail-oriented
  • Must have excellent math and keyboarding skills
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks in fast paced environment
  • Ability to work independently on projects and perform as part of a team
  • Knowledge of the Duro-Last Roofing system a plus
  • Ability to work within deadlines
  • Customer service experience preferred
