The role works under the guidance of and assists the Sr.Manager, Technical Accounting and Reporting to lead the alignment of accounting policies, reporting standards and systems integration across multiple business units. This position will work closely with individual business unit accounting and controlling teams to drive consistency, improve reporting efficiency and support systems harmonization initiatives. This is a hands-on collaborative position ideal for someone with a strong technical accounting background, excellent communication skills, and a passion for improving processes and systems. 


WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
A. Responsible for adherence to company policies including safety and the use of personal protective equipment. 
B. Implement standardized accounting policies and procedures across all business units
C. Act as a subject matter expert for US GAAP, ensuring compliance and consistency in interpretation for Building Envelope and provide guidance on complex accounting issues
D. Collaborate with business unit finance teams to align on internal and external reporting processes
E. Support consolidated financial reporting efforts by ensuring timely and accurate data flow from each business unit
F. Identify and implement opportunities to streamline month close and reporting timelines
G. Assist in chart of accounts design, process automation and system testing for new implementations
H. Support design and rollout of consistent internal controls across business units
I. Participate in policy governance efforts including control documentation and training Supervisor Responsibilities


While this role does not have current direct reports, it plays a leadership role in guiding and coordinating efforts across multiple accounting teams to ensure alignment with corporate policies and system standards. WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or another business/related field.

Minimum of 7 years of progressive accounting experience in either a large public accounting firm or a sophisticated corporate and multi-entity environment with at least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial role. CPA preferred.
Demonstrated and extensive knowledge of US GAAP.

Excellent project management, organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Accuracy and attention to detail.

Experience with ERP SAP and/or D365 preferred, Tagetik, Workiva, SAP SAC.
Must be able to excel in a deadline-oriented environment and demonstrate a high level of competence in organizing and prioritizing multiple work assignment. Ability to deal effectively with a diversity of individuals at all organizational levels.

Demonstrated ability to work independently within interpretive guidelines, take initiative, and perform effectively in fast-paced and constantly changing environment; effective oral and written
communication skills; familiarity with change management and finance transformation initiatives; high level of skills in handling sensitive and confidential situations/information with the demonstrated ability to maintain strict confidentiality. 


Mental and Physical Requirements
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment.
Physical activities include continuous talking, hearing and frequent sitting in front of a computer.

Ability to meet deadlines and work well under high pressure situations.
This position may require working outside of normal business hours.

Tolerance for repetitive work in a fast paced, high productive work environment.

Ability to research and analyze data; ability to objectively coach employees and management through complex, difficult, and emotional issues, and to make recommendations to effectively resolve problems or issues by using judgment that is consistent with Amrize’s standards, practices, policies, procedures, regulations or government laws.
5-10% periodic travel, including airline travel and overnight stays, may be required.
