ABOUT THE ROLE
Amrize Building Envelope is hiring a National Technical Manager for Metal Systems. This position is responsible for maintaining, creating, and managing technical literature, conducting
training, and determining warrantable applications for Elevate’s UNA-CLAD roofing systems and related products and accessories. The National Technical Manager develops, communicates and executes strategies consistent with Amrize’s objective to deliver best in class service through customer focus and operational excellence.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
- Update Technical Information Sheets, Application and Design Guides, Details and other technical documents in response to changing market conditions, codes or regulatory updates, product changes or periodic reviews.
- Present technical trainings on requirements for warranted installations to internal teammates, sales reps and contractors.
- Determine warrantable applications of product lines - evaluate warrantability.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of the industry, including competitors, organizations, tools and resources to drive share growth.
- Work with R&D and Marketing to determine gaps in product offerings and contribute to the development process.
- Act as subject matter expert on product lines and respond to sales reps and regional technical questions.
- Support new product launches and issue Technical Bulletins as needed.
- Review Marketing literature and website content updates for technical accuracy and clarity.
- Understand Amrize’s strategic direction and align team activities and metrics to execute and deliver against them.
- Create and foster a culture of customer-centric, action-oriented, collaborative teammates.
- Participate in corporate initiatives as assigned to enhance company capabilities, performance, and efficiency.
- Collaborate effectively across functional departments (including Marketing, Sales, Quality, R&D, Manufacturing, Purchasing and Field Services) to implement process and system
improvements that improve customer satisfaction, simplify work processes and drive breakthrough growth.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- BS/BA in Engineering or related field and 5 years relevant experience.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills, and the ability to maintain positive relationships with customers and teammates.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Vault, CRM and Adobe software preferred.
- High level of intellectual and emotional intelligence required.
- Demonstrated proficiency in process development, implementation and improvement.
- Position will be primarily office-based using standard office technology, with business travel up to 25%.
