ABOUT THE ROLE

Amrize Building Envelope is undergoing a CRM transformation, and the Marketing Digital team is seeking an experienced and passionate Senior Salesforce Administrator to lead the optimization and management of its Salesforce CRM platform. This role is pivotal in driving CRM adoption across sales, marketing, and customer support functions, while ensuring the platform is effectively integrated with other key business systems.

As a Senior Salesforce Administrator, you will leverage your extensive knowledge of Salesforce to lead the development, integration, and enhancement of the CRM platform. You will be a key partner to stakeholders, driving best practices, innovation, and delivering strategic improvements to improve user experience, streamline processes, and provide business intelligence insights. You must be adept at balancing high-level strategy with day-to-day platform administration and support.

 

WHAT YOU’LL ACCOMPLISH

  • Provide strategic thought leadership for scalable growth of CRM throughout the organization with continuous improvement at the forefront of approach.
  • Lead the development and management of Salesforce functionality to meet evolving business needs, including defining enhancements, managing the backlog, and ensuring effective implementation.
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing to establish a sustainable lead management process, while continuously enhancing and automating lead generation and nurturing initiatives.
  • Proactively facilitate with business stakeholders the definition of CRM functional roadmap to create a long-term vision and business integration.
  • Serve as the technical lead for complex Salesforce troubleshooting and problem resolution, identifying root causes and designing scalable solutions.
  • Define performance indicators (KPIs) and develop and optimize reports, dashboards, and performance metrics to provide actionable insights, ensuring alignment with objectives.
  • Deliver regular performance reports to executive leadership, highlighting CRM’s impact on business outcomes and identifying areas for improvement or expansion.
  • Design security models across the Salesforce ecosystem, ensuring compliance and best practices for user management.
  • Evaluate the latest CRM technologies and trends; recommend and assess new tools and integrations that would provide strategic benefits to the organization
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, Master Data Management, and external vendors, to ensure data integrity and alignment between Salesforce and other business-critical systems.
  • Proactively manage and maintain data quality through continuous data analysis, monitoring, and process improvements, contributing to the ongoing success of the CRM.
  • Lead system release management, including planning, testing, and deployment of Salesforce updates, ensuring minimal disruption to users.
  • Identify and implement best practices for CRM adoption, working closely with stakeholders to drive process efficiency and system utilization.
  • Develop and deliver training programs and resources to empower users and ensure they maximize the value of the Salesforce platform.
  • Act as a subject matter expert for Salesforce, providing expert guidance and recommendations to stakeholders and leadership.
  • Scale development and support through coaching and managing deliverables of other Salesforce developers/administrators (direct & non-direct reports)

 

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • 7+ years of hands-on experience with Salesforce, with demonstrated expertise in managing and scaling CRM platforms in a complex, multi-business environment.
  • Experience with B2B and building products industry experience is a plus.
  • Proficiency in developing reports, dashboards, and using data analytics to inform decision-making.
  • Strong experience working in an Agile environment, with a demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
  • A self-starter with the ability to take ownership of platform health and continuously seek out opportunities for improvement.
  • Salesforce Advanced Administrator certification required; other certifications such as Integration Architect, System Architect, Platform App Builder, CPQ Developer, etc. preferred.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and technical skills, with the ability to quickly adapt to changing business needs.
