ABOUT THE ROLE

The Maintenance Supervisor will coordinate and supervise mechanical maintenance activities to achieve the highest level of quality, safety and effectiveness to maximize equipment availability of plant equipment at the lowest optimum sustainable maintenance cost in compliance with H&S as well as environmental rules and regulations. WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

• Systematic inspections of all assigned plant equipment.
• Analysis of data collected, completed work orders, and process data in order to initiate appropriate maintenance work orders which include a detailed scope of work.
• Non-systematic inspections (repetitive problems, validate work requests, daily incidents).
• Familiar with precision maintenance technologies such as laser alignment and dynamic balancing.
• Comfortable, at a hands on level, with welding techniques and practices for industrial equipment.
• Document and monitor equipment history files.
• Tracking, analysis, and recommendation for equipment performance, cost, and life.
• Providing direction to the maintenance and purchasing groups regarding technical purchases and equipment selection.
• Ensuring inventory and source of spare parts are consistent with plant equipment reliability and economic constraints.
• Ensure implementation of equipment modification and maintenance projects with respect to costs and schedule.
• Development of long term equipment maintenance strategies.
• Quality Assurance of Execution work done on and off site, and of materials received.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

Education: High school diploma or equivalent years of experience
Additional Education Preferred: Bachelor's degree
Field of Study Preferred: Industrial Maintenance
Required Work Experience: 3-5 years of industrial maintenance experience or cement industry experience

• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Holcim approved Personal
Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators. Subject to applicable law,
employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets
the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests.
