Starting Hourly Wage: $26.28 hourly + $1 additional (Shift differential)

Monday - Friday 4 pm to 12:30am

 

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Production Worker Middle performs general duties that include, but are not limited to: Measuring bundle heights, checking board lengths and square checks. Checks for general defects in material. Communicates quality issues to pour table operators during the production run. Production Worker Middle may also assist with attaching labels and gluing slats to bundles, adjusting saws and may assist in loading of packaging machine plastic.

 

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

  • Machine operation with some quality assurance knowledge
  • Monitoring of the product and the equipment i.e. robots, gang saw, crosscut saw, trim saw, conveyors and packaging equipment
  • Handling and maintaining flow of materials and products according to established guidelines
  • Logging the movement of incoming and outgoing materials and products
  • Operating low complexity motorized and non-motorized material handling equipment
  • Follows all Standard Operating Procedures Safely
  • Other duties as assigned
     

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR

  • High School Diploma
  • One to two years’ experience in a shipping/warehousing operation
  • One to two years’ experience in a manufacturing environment desired
  • Must have forklift experience
  • Experience with inventory software, SAP preferred
  • Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 30 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
