ABOUT THE ROLE
The Groundsperson will carry out scheduled ground maintenance work. In this role, you will report to the Aggregates Production Lead Hand and will work co-operatively with the Saskatoon Aggregates team.
WHAT YOU’LL ACCOMPLISH

Perform several types of manual work.

Handle materials, tools, and equipment.

Operate automotive vehicles and small mobile equipment such as a skid steer when required.

Shovel spillage around conveyors.

Ensure the safety of company personnel, the community, and environment.

Seek out and implement Best Practices.

Create an atmosphere of teamwork and ensure the development of personnel and arbitrate to resolve conflicts.

Identify and communicate product problems and information.

Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviors.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
Education: High school diploma or equivalent
Required Training/Certifications: N/A
Required Work Experience: Knowledge in general maintenance work.

Capable of working in an outdoor environment year round.

A positive and proactive attitude towards teamwork and safety.

Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators. Employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests.
