ABOUT THE ROLE 

The Maintenance Foreman is responsible for leading and coordinating the daily maintenance operations of the facility, ensuring equipment reliability, safety compliance, and optimal production support. This position supervises a team of maintenance personnel, prioritizes work orders, troubleshoots equipment failures, and ensures timely repairs and preventive maintenance. The Maintenance Foreman will work closely with operations, safety, and management teams to minimize downtime, improve asset performance, and maintain a safe and productive work environment.

 

WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH 

  • Direct, assign, and oversee daily activities of maintenance crews, ensuring proper execution of scheduled and unscheduled work.
  • Train, mentor, and evaluate maintenance team members to build skill sets and ensure adherence to safety and quality standards.
  • Coordinate with operations leadership to plan maintenance tasks around production schedules.
  • Manage preventive maintenance schedules, ensuring all equipment is serviced according to manufacturer and company standards.
  • Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns, troubleshoot issues, and assign resources for repairs.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance logs, work orders, and equipment history in the CMMS system.
  • Oversee spare parts inventory and coordinate ordering of necessary supplies and components.
  • Enforce safety policies, lockout/tagout procedures, and OSHA regulations during all maintenance activities.
  • Conduct safety meetings and ensure proper use of PPE and safe work practices by all maintenance personnel.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviors.

 

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • Must have a working knowledge of basic electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems as well as the use of all shop equipment such as welding and machining equipment.
  • Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators. Employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests.
